Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of chambalsafarikota.com and any boat safari you book with Chambal Boat Safari, operated by CAT Hospitality LLP ("we", "us"). By using this website or making a booking, you accept these terms.
Bookings and confirmation
- Submitting the booking form is a request, not a guaranteed reservation. Your safari is confirmed only when we confirm it with you on WhatsApp or phone.
- All safaris are subject to availability, boat capacity and river conditions on the day.
- Each boat carries a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 people. Small groups may be combined with others to meet the minimum, unless a private boat is arranged.
Pricing and payment
- The standard fare is ₹2,200 per person, all-inclusive of the sanctuary boat safari as described on the site.
- Payment is arranged directly with us after your booking is confirmed. We do not collect card details on this website.
- Prices may change without notice; the price confirmed to you at the time of booking is the one that applies.
Safari conditions and safety
- Safaris operate on the Chambal River, including within the Jawahar Sagar Sanctuary (part of the Mukundra Hills landscape). Timings and availability depend on water levels, weather and forest-department conditions, and we confirm the day's timing individually.
- Wearing the provided life jacket is mandatory for every passenger for the whole cruise.
- You must follow the instructions of the boatman and guide at all times. Do not stand up, lean out, swim, feed or disturb wildlife, or litter in the river or sanctuary.
- We may delay, shorten, reschedule or cancel a safari for safety, weather or water-level reasons. In such cases our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.
Your responsibilities
- Arrive on time at the boarding point we confirm for your route — this is not the booking office in Anantpura. Please check the location before you set out.
- Carry a valid government photo ID. Foreign nationals should carry passport details if requested for sanctuary records.
- Tell us in advance if any guest cannot swim, is pregnant, has a medical condition, or is a young child, so we can advise on suitability. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- You are responsible for your own belongings; we are not liable for loss of or damage to personal items.
Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
A river boat safari is an outdoor activity that carries inherent risks, including those relating to water, wildlife and weather. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAT Hospitality LLP and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with any booking shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including weather, floods, dam releases or government orders.
Photography
We may take photographs or video during safaris for our records and promotion. If you do not wish to be photographed, please tell your guide and we will respect your request.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations, reschedules and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kota, Rajasthan.
